
Class 4 have been studying the Ancient Mayans this term in History.
In Design and Technology the children had worked collaboratively to make their own 3D Mayan pyramids and temples.
A super time was had by all during this year’s Year 4 Residential on 24 and 25 March. The children were a such a delightful group to take away; so polite and well-mannered and thoroughly enjoying all the activities.

Another very successful bake sale was held at FPS after school on the last day. So many delicious Easter themed cakes for the children to choose from.
Classes 2, 3 and 4 each had an excellent Lego-Robotics workshop on Thursday 3rd February to enable the children to learn more about the technology of coding and it has certainly impacted positively on their understanding of coding.
After school on Monday 9 February, our Year 5 and 6 children took part in the Rushcliffe Indoor Athletics final.
An awesome day was had by Class 3 and 4 on Thursday 20 January during their visit to the magnificent Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham. Magna is housed inside the old steel works and is absolutely huge with much of the machinery left in situ.
Mrs Gray, an art teacher from Toot Hill Secondary School, came to give the children an art master class.The aboriginal paintings the children created are amazing and involved experimenting with a range of different mediums.
